Jana Curcio founded the company in 1997 after working as a staff photojournalist at three of the nation’s largest newspapers. She launched the Washington office in 2000, with a team of photographers who have been published in magazines such as Rolling Stone, Newsweek and National Geographic Traveler. They have worked for newspapers such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Dallas Morning News, The Chicago Tribune, and The Los Angeles Times.
